André Moreira, João Fonseca, Gonçalo Oliveira, Guilherme Gaspar, Tiago Parente, Martim Ferreira, Olívio Tomé and Gonçalo Moreira, players from the Benfica Under-19 and Under-17 teams, re among Filipe Ramos' chosen to represent Portugal in the Under-17 European Championship, which will be held in Hungary, between May 17 and June 2. The final squad was announced this Saturday, May 13.

Benfica is the most represented club in the national team's squad, with eight of the 20 players chosen.

Portugal is in group C and will make its debut in the opening day of the tournament – May 17 –, facing Germany, at 7 pm, at the Nagyerdei Stadium. Three days later, – May 20 – the Portuguese national team faces Scotland, at 2 pm, at the DEAC Stadium. The last game in the group stage is scheduled for May 23 at 2 pm, at the Balmazújváros Stadium, with France as the opponent.
