Benfica SAD launches bond loan 2023-2026

Sport Lisboa e Benfica - Futebol, SAD communicated on Wednesday, April 26, to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) the launch of a bond loan in the initial amount of up to 40 million euros, in a total of eight million bonds with a nominal value of 5 euros each. The gross fixed interest rate is 5.75% per year. See the detailed information here.

Benfica SAD 2023–2026 Bonds will be issued under two offerings running from May 2 to May 12, 2023, inclusive, as described below:

• A public offer for subscription of up to 8 million bonds, with a nominal value of 5 euros each and an initial aggregate of up to 40 million euros;

• A public exchange offer of up to 8 million bonds, with a nominal value of 5 euros each and an initial aggregate amount of up to 40 million euros, issued by Benfica SAD on July 15, 2020, with repayment date on July 17, 2023, with a gross fixed interest rate of 4.00% per annum and with ISIN PTSLBBOM0019, representing the bond loan denominated "Benfica SAD 2020-2023", corresponding to each Benfica SAD 2020-2023 Bond, as consideration, one Benfica SAD 2023-2026 Bond and the interest accrued from January 15, 2023, inclusive, to the date of issue and settlement, exclusive, in the amount of 0.067777778 for each Benfica SAD 2020-2023 Bond, such payment being subject to taxes, commissions and other charges.
