Signed in 2019 to IBV from Iceland, Cloé Lacasse sealed last Sunday, April 23, another glorious chapter with Benfica. The second out of two successful shots in the rout against Ouriense, by 6-0, allowed her to reach the record of 100 goals and keep chasing Darlene, the top scored in History of the women's football team with 136 goals.

"I'm very happy. It’s an honor to score 100 goals with Benfica. It’s an unforgettable and very special moment for me, for my family and team", declared to BTV, in Portuguese.

"The opportunity came, I had the team and the coaches behind me, and the fans were supporting me. It’s nice to have them and it was special", said the eagles’ top scorer in the Liga BPI (70 goals), League Cup (11) and Champions League (12).

Now it is time to face Famalicão in the 2nd leg of the Portuguese Cup, after the 3-3 draw in the 1st clash.

"We want the Victory so we can get the Portuguese Cup also with the League Championship. I’m going to continue to score goals and we’re going to continue to win games", she promised.
