Otamendi and Enzo, Benfica players, are in the World Cup final, after Argentina beat Croatia (3-0) in the first semi-final of the competition, played on Tuesday night, December 13, in Lusail, Qatar.

Selected for the starting eleven by the Argentinean national coach, Otamendi and Enzo performed well. The center-back always attentive, consistent in the defensive process and secure in the passing, an aspect in which Enzo also scored points.

According to data from the Sofascore platform, Otamendi finished the match with 95% pass accuracy, two fouls committed, one blocked shot, and one interception.

Enzo also showed a high pass accuracy percentage (88%), played nine duels, of which he won four, and had 61 touches on the ball.

Argentina now awaits the winner of the France-Morocco match on Wednesday, December 14, at 7 pm to find out who they will face in the World Cup final on Sunday, December 18, at 3 pm.

A moving tribute to Humberto Coelho

Having celebrated his 75th birthday on Sunday, April 20, Humberto Coelho received a heartfelt and well-deserved tribute on Wednesday, April 23, at the Estádio da Luz, during half-time of the Benfica-Tirsense (4-0) second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals. Captain for many years, he wore the Manto Sagrado for “14 fantastic seasons” and, on the pitch, he gave a special thanks to the fans. "This is more than soul, it's an extraordinary mystique! Only at Benfica can you feel this recognition and this glory and memory of having played for the best club in the world," said the former central defender.
