Rochele Nunes, a Benfica judoka, won the silver medal in the +78 kg category at the Baku Grand Slam. The decisive fight took place in the early hours of this Sunday afternoon, November 6, in the capital of Azerbaijan.

In the final, head-to-head with Milica Zabic, from Serbia, Rochele Nunes was surprised by a blow from her opponent at 52 seconds into the fight and lost, by "ippon", in the dispute for the gold medal, ending up on the second position of the podium. . 

This was the second medal won by a Benfica judoka in the world judo circuit event organized in Baku, adding to the silver medal won by Telma Monteiro (-57 kg).
