In sports, as in life, every opportunity counts, and it is never too early to leave an indelible mark in History.

What Diogo Ribeiro achieved in the world junior swimming championships – three gold medals at the age of 17 and a world record in 50 butterfly  – leaves Sport Lisboa e Benfica extremely proud and an entire country dreaming about even bigger accomplishments in the future.

We are in front of a great talent, whose dedication and commitment honor all Benfiquistas. It is a huge privilege for the Club to keep track of his development and ambition.
