Scorer of the only goal of the afternoon in Leiria, Gonçalo Ramos was the "Man of the Match" of the Casa Pia-Benfica match, from gameweek 2 of the Liga Bwin.

"We had opportunities to score more goals"

"There in the box my job is to always believe in every play. The team created the chances very well, I had to wait for mine and I managed to score", explained Gonçalo Ramos.

Asked if the match was more complicated than expected...

"I think we can say yes, for the fact that we were not able to score the goals as we are used to scoring. We had opportunities to score more goals", answered Gonçalo Ramos.

Gonçalo Ramos also praised the football that Benfica plays and didn't forget the special dedication, seen on all the red jerseys that were on the pitch: "We dedicate the victory to coach Chalana."
