It is with a particular emotion that I celebrate this world title with you. Congratulations, Pedro Pablo Pichardo. We are proud of another great achievement, less than a year after the Olympic gold won in Tokyo, also with impeccable merit and talent.

Another remarkable moment in world athletics by an athlete who found in Portugal and at Sport Lisboa e Benfica the stability and the ideal conditions to enhance his remarkable potential.

And proud we are, because the will, the ambition, the vision, and the means of Olympic Benfica together with your enormous dedication and value have, since April 2017, raised the name of Portugal with titles and medals. And we want to continue like this.
