Sport Lisboa e Benfica organized, for the first time, a Soccer Camp in San Diego, California, between June 20th and 24th. The great success of this activity in the community has led to new initiatives being planned for the near future in that region of the United States.

Following the Camp held in Henderson, Nevada, Benfica went to San Diego for a week to allow more than 70 boys and girls the opportunity to experience the training methodology and values of the Club.

At the facilities of  Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU), considered as “America´s Most Scenic Ballpark”, and under the supervision of Benfica technicians,  Davide Gomes and João Rosmaninho, participants aged between 7 and 16 years, improved football knowledge in an excellent learning and friendly environment.
