João Mário and Rafa called up to the National Team

The national team coach Fernando Santos has called up the benfiquistas João Mário and Rafa for the next three games of the National Team. The convocation was released at noon on Thursday, August 26, in the Cidade do Futebol.

Portugal will face Republic of Ireland, at Estádio Algarve, on September 1, at 7:45 pm, and Azerbaijan, in Baku, on Sep 7, at 8 pm, in the Word Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers (group A).

In between these two matches, Portugal will play a friendly match against Qatar, on September 4, in Debrecen, Hungary.
