The women's football team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica will participate in the KAIF Trophy, prestigious international tournament which takes place in Austria, at Arena Leoben, between August 5 and 8.

Real Madrid (Spanish vice-champions), Turbine Potsdam (six times winners of the German Bundesliga and two times European Champions), Sparta Praha (21 times champions in Czech republic and current champions of the tournament; regularly play the UEFA Champions League), Celtic and Austria Wien will be the other teams involved in the competition.

SL Benfica starts the tournament on August 6 at 4 pm in Portugal, against Turbine Potsdam and faces Austria Wien on the following day, at 6:30 pm.

The last day will have the game to decide the 3rd and 4th place playoff, at 2 pm, and the final, at 4:30 pm.

The newly crowned five-time national champions, Benfica's women's football team, were present at the Benfica Official Store at the Estádio da Luz on Tuesday afternoon, April 15. The Inspiradoras interacted with the many fans who lined up - some even waited more than two hours for the session to start - and who didn't waste the opportunity to talk to the protagonists of the historic feat and remember the moment with photographs. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone left satisfied. “Filipa, you're the best coach in the world,” said one Benfica fan.
