Fernando Pimenta, canoeist of Benfica, won, this Saturday morning, the bronze medal in the K1 1000 meters event at the World Cup being held in Hungary.

The Portuguese olympic athlete finished the event in 3.38.94 minutes, in 3rd place, 1.1 seconds behind the winner, the German Jacob Schopf. In second place was the Czech Josef Dostal.
