Qualified for the semifinals of the 2020/21 League Cup, SL Benfica is one of the four clubs that will be in the draw, that will take place on Monday, December 21, to define the games that will determine the finalists of this edition of the competition. 

The encounters of the semifinals are scheduled for for January 19 and 20 at the Estádio Municipal de Leiria – Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, and the final will be played on January 23, also in Leiria.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica, with seven wins, is the club with the most League Cup in the list of honors. They lift the trophy in 2008/09, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16.
