Jorge Jesus: "We want to reach the Europa League final"

The coach of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Jorge Jesus, previewed, in press conference, the match from Matchday of the Europa League. The match against Lech Poznan is scheduled for this Thursday at 5:55 pm.  

How do you look at this opponent, which has been absent from the European competitions? Do you think it will be an extra motivation for the Polish?

Benfica is always an extra motivation for any team. The history and the past of this competition prove it. We don’t want just to be in the Europa League, we want to reach the final of this competition, the goal is to be in Gdansk [city where the final will take place]. That’s our main goal, but one step at a time. We want to start with a victory.

What do you expect from Lech Poznan?

When we heard that this team will be in our group, we started to study them. They have Pedro Tiba, a player I know very well. He’s considered one of the best players. They will cause us some trouble, but we got to be ready for that. The only thing that matters is the victory at he end of the match.
