Hossein Tayebi: "I chose Benfica because it is a winning club"

He is an Iranian international, he is 31 years old, and he arrives from Kairat Almaty. Hossein Tayebi plays as a winger/pivot and bolsters the futsal team of SL Benfica.

The Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião was the stage chosen for the presentation of Hossein Tayebi. Announced as a new signing of the eagles in the first week of August, the winger /pivot was officially presented and did not hide his satisfaction, in a moment that counted with the presence of Domingos Almeida Lima, vice-president of SL Benfica, and Morteza Damanpak Jami, ambassador of Iran in Portugal.

"I am very happy to be in a great club like Benfica. He has a great team, great players, a great coach. I always give my best and all my energy to help the team. The most important thing is the collective, the success of the team. I will do my best to help the Club, I will always play with heart and I hope to help the team win many trophies ", revealed the Iranian international.

"I've always had good experiences at international level and I feel very happy to be the first Iranian player to play in a club like Sport Lisboa e Benfica", explained the winger /pivot, who claimed: "I chose Benfica because it is a winning Club!" 

After spells at Foolad Mahan (Iran), Giti Pasand (Iran), Norilsk Nickel (Russia) and Kairat Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tayebi arrives at Benfica.
