Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement for Joel Rocha's contract renewal. The coach of the men's futsal senior team of the Club moves on to his seventh season with an eagle on his chest.

"It is a great satisfaction, corresponding to the scale of what our institution is. It's a pride to represent Benfica and a joy to be able to perform what is my area of expertise with my coaching team, to develop and continue to win with this jersey. It is another moment of a huge commitment. We look at this contract renewal as a sign of trust in what are our capabilities, skills, and what is our professionalism and dedication. We will do everything daily to give back with quality, a lot of commitment and, above all, as a consequence win of trophies and enrich the  Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião", claimed Joel Rocha, in exclusive statements with BTV.

As the head coach of the eagles he has won many trophies: 2 National Championship (2014/15 and 2018/19), 2 Portuguese Cups (2014/15 and 2016/17), 3 League Cups (2017/18, 2018/19 and 2019/20), 2 Super Cups (2015/16 and 2016/17), 1 Cup of Honor (2014/15).
