Sport Lisboa e Benfica has reached an agreement with Brest, from Ligue 1, for the permanent transfer of the player Heriberto Tavares.

With the Sacred Mantle, the forward played with the B team in 2016/17 (44 matches, 13 goals) and 2017/18 (40 matches, 16 goals), becoming Benfica B's all-time top scorer..

Later, Heriberto was loaned to 2018/19 (36 matches, 7 goals) and to Boavista in the 2019/20 season (30 matches, 4 goals). Now, the young attacker (23 years old) will represent Brest, from Ligue 1.
