Sport Lisboa e Benfica is highlighted in the study carried out by the consultancy KPMG  "Football Clubs' Valuation: The European Elite 2020", which analyzes the financial behavior of Europe's biggest clubs. The Reds have risen two places in a year and are in 24th place.

In addition to the annual financial component presented by the clubs, KPMG also analyses three parameters: be among the top 50 clubs in total operating revenue; be in the top 50 according to the coefficient of the last five seasons in UEFA competitions; be in the list of the top 30 clubs with the highest number of followers in social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube) up to January 2020.

Note that the commercial value of the Benfica Brand is 410 million euros, which means a growth of 23 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.

The value of SL Benfica as a company was found according to the performance achieved in these five topics: financial income, popularity on social networks, sports and revenue potential on matchday, TV rights and the fact that the stadium is an asset of the club.
