With his 16th goal in the Liga NOS, he was decisive in Benfica's trip to Gil Vicente's home ground (0-1). Vinícius highlighted the importance of leaving Barcelos – "a difficult ground" – with the three points and remembered there are "12 finals" left.

"It was a difficult win, at a difficult ground. We managed to impose our rhythm from start to finish and we left this ground with the three points, that's what matters", highlighted the Brazilian forward.

"Our work continues, we are calm. We have 12 finals ahead of us and we'll face them game by game", claimed Benfica's no. 95.
