STATEMENTS

The scorer of Benfica's goal against Shakhtar (2-1), Pizzi, analyzed the match from the 1st leg of the Europa League Last 32.

"We came here with a positive, but we faced, like we expected, a very difficult team, with players with a lot of quality, a coach that makes his teams play good football. And that was what happened. We were hoping to be on a more positive spell right now, but I think we made a good match", analyzed the Portuguese international. 

"It was not the result we wanted, but we have to congratulate the team because we fought from the start. Unfortunately, we conceded the second goal after an individual mistake, but the team is here to take the blame for everything and we want to turn things around on Monday, when we will have a very tough match for the championship [Gil Vicente]", pointed out Benfica's midfielder.
