STATEMENTS

Paulo Bernardo, an 18-year-old midfielder (24.01.2002), renewed contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2024.

"It is a great pride, thought about it for a long time, it was an objective. Everything's going well. Benfica gives me the best conditions, I just have to thank everyone for this de opportunity", claimed the midfielder, exclusively to BTV, after penning the new contract.

In the current season (2019/20), in all, Paulo Bernardo has participated in 33 matches so far: two in the II Liga, 22 in the Liga Revelação, six in the UEFA Youth League and three in the U-19 National Championship. He scored four goals.
