STATEMENTS

Dyego Sousa is a new signing from Sport Lisboa e Benfica! The 30-year-old Brazilian-born Portuguese forward joins the Club on loan, with a contract valid until the end of the calendar year 2020. The Portuguese international will wear the no. 20 shirt.

“It's a very big thrill. The Club is huge and always tried to sign me. It's a pleasure… I don't even have the right words, but I'm happy. I already had an idea of Benfica's greatness from the outside, but looking from the inside, we realize that it's even greater than we imagined”, he claimed, in statements with BTV.

“For me, it was the fulfillment of a dream. I left, and now I have returned in grand style, to the biggest club in Portugal. It's going to be spectacular and I hope to take the opportunity. I want to give my best and meet or exceed expectations. Now I must show my value, my will and determination on the pitch”, he finished.
