Benfica beat Zenit (3-0) on matchday 6 of the Champions League group stage and secured a spot in the Europa League. In the mixed zone, Taarabt analyzed the match and remembered an unrewarding game.

"If we had won in Leipzig... We reached the end of the 90 minutes winning in Germany. If we had won, with these three points we would have qualified for the Last 16 of the Champions League. It wasn't possible, but now we achieved the other goal, which was to qualify for the Europa League. We played well and we won against a strong opponent. We showed that we are also a great team and we are pleased with the result", he highlighted.
