He was involved in the four goals from Benfica against Marítimo (4-0). Vinícius completed a hat-trick, assisted Pizzi and was elected the Man of the Match.

"Happy for the team. It was a perfect game that keeps us as leaders of the Championship. I'm happier with the fact that the team worked [than the three goals scored], the fact we have played good football in front of our fans... that's what matters", said the Brazilian striker to BTV.

"It's a defining moment in my career, but I leave this ground happy for the team, I dedicate this trophy to my teammates. This is Benfica, the group", stressed the forward, who has scored in the last four matches.
