🎥 Bruno Lage: “Finish this cycle of games as leaders”

Bruno Lage previewed the game from matchday 11 of the Liga NOS against Santa Clara in a Press Conference held at the Benfica Campus. The clash will take place at the Estádio de São Miguel at 6:00 pm this Saturday.

Benfica go to the Azores as the best defense and the best attack. What do you expect from Santa Clara?

We are going in those conditions, and our goal is to leave that ground in the same conditions and in the same place. We are going to play against a team where João [Henriques] has been doing a good work; a team that has been playing attractive football, with wins. The team sits mid-table. Santa Clara is a team that is comfortable in two different. We must be prepared for system with five defenders. We must be prepared for all eventualities, put in a good performance, get the three points and finish this cycle of seven games as leaders of the championship.

Do you know if you can use Ferro in this match?

We will travel with us, but we still don't know if he'll be fit to play. He has been training normally. If he is 100% fit, he plays; if not, we have Jardel always ready.
