🎥 Bruno Lage: "We have to be at our best"

Benfica and Portimonense face at 8:15 on Wednesday. At Estádio da Luz the teams will play for round 9 of the Liga NOS and Bruno Lage stated, in a press conference, that Benfica has to be at the best level to win.

Although the performances are not fully meeting expectations, the eagles are in a difficult game cycle that continues with Portimonense. How is Benfica going to face this tough phase?

There are the expectations and there are the demands. We have that clear on our minds. We wanted to have a strong return and we must continue that, knowing that we can play better, there is that demand internally, however, the most important thing, when the performances do not have the quality that they already had this season, is to get the three points. The champions are made with points and that must always be our mentality. Portimonense is a competent team, which has a very interesting dynamic in offensive terms. They can play in several formations, against the big teams they always put in good performances, we just have to look at the game they made against FC Porto this season, and the game they made last year against us, so, we have to be at our best.
