A “hard”, but “deserved” win. It was with these words that Gabriel analyzed the result in the home match against the Lyon (2-1) in Round 3 of the Champions League.

“The victory wasn’t fortuitous. We worked for that the entire week, we did what the coach asked us for. The goal [Pizzi] was a different play, but our work was also very important during the match. It was a tough win and match, but we know that this competition is hard”, analysed the Brazilian midfielder.

“Pizzi’s play is a stroke of genius. We did a tremendous goal, very important for us at a moment when both teams were pushing a lot”, he added.
