In addition to these three players named – that make Benfica, along with Wolverhampton, the most represented club on this list –, Fernando Santos also called up seven players who went through the Reds youth ranks: José Sá, Nélson Semedo, Mário Rui, Danilo Pereira, Bernardo Silva, Gonçalo Guedes and João Félix.
Currently in the 2nd place in Group B, with eight points amassed in four matches, Portugal hosts Luxembourg on October 11 and then travels to Kyiv, to face Ukraine on October 14, also at 7:45 pm (Portuguese time).
