Rúben Dias Statements Benfica Leipzig Champions League

Rúben Dias praised the attitude and display of the Reds in round 1 of Group G of the Champions League. The eagles suffered 1-2 loss against RB Leipzig. Next comes a trip to Russia to face Zenit.

"It was a good display. This is the Champions League. We ended up creating a lot of opportunities, and in this competition the efficiency is everything. They scored two goals and we scored one. Overall, that's what makes the difference, because otherwise the team did a good game. We had many opportunities to score, we ended up scoring in the end and unfortunately we were unable to score the second. This result doesn't stain what was the team's display", highlighted Rúben Dias.

In the next round (2) of the Champions League, on October 2, at 8:00 pm, Benfica faces Zenit – the Russian outfit drew against Lyon this Tuesday.

"Of course we rack up points, but there's still a lot of matches to play. It's game by game, focusing on one game at a time and doing our best", he claimed.
