King of assists in Portugal and in Europe in 2018/19, a season that ended with the reconquest of the national title, Pizzi is standing out in the 2019/20 Liga NOS for the goals he scores (and not only!). Benfica's number 21 has just been named the Best Player of August by the Liga Portugal.

For the coaches of the Liga NOS, on the basis of the vote taken, Pizzi was above all players in terms of overall performance in the first rounds of the competition and was therefore considered the most valuable (MVP) among competitors.

Pizzi received 21,40% of the votes, beating Bruno Fernandes (Sporting) e Mehdi (Rio Ave FC).

With five goals scored in the four rounds played so far, the number 21 jersey is the top scorer of the Liga NOS and has provided two assists.

Among several relevant statistical data, it should be noted that Pizzi is the attaching midfielder that has carried out more passes and more crosses in the Liga NOS so far, according to the platform Wyscout.
