Persistent and determined, Benfica has broken the defensive organization of Belenenses SAD and, with goals in the second half (Rafa and Pizzi), won by 0-2 in the trip to Estádio Nacional. Two round of the Liga NOS, two triumphs, with seven goals scored and none conceded.

The Reds opened the scoring at 58': Rafa, on the left flank, made a combination with Pizzi (assist) and, inside the penalty box, close to the penalty spot, scored the 0-1. The number 27 made his first goal in the 2019/20 Liga NOS .

In injury time, the eagles scored the 0-2, Rafa passed to Pizzi, who controlled the ball and scored with a right-footed shot inside the box (90'+2').

On matchday 3, Benfica returns to Estádio da Luz to play the first clássico of the season against FC Porto at 7:00 pm on August 24 (Saturday).
