In 2019/20, the midfielder has been working hard and presents himself as an asset to the team. A good preseason, culminating in the ICC victory, seven minutes player in the Super Cup triumph and a lot of desire to win more…

“I think we had a very good start um but we're still at the beginning of the season and we're focused on our goals. We take training by training, game by game! That's why we're focused. It was the best possible start, but it was only the first game of the season [Paços de Ferreira], there are 33 games to go so we just have to take game by game and in the end see how it goes”, he explained in relation to victorious start in the current season, especially in the Liga NOS.

I've had many years of football, but the spirit of this team is something I haven't seen much of. So, he believe in this group, a mixture of experience and  talented players. We have a very good group”, he said.
