João Pedro Moreira Resende, a 16-year-old (26.03.2003), was signed by Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

The U-17 player arrives at the Club coming from Vitória Sport Clube, where he played in the last four seasons, and he began his footballing career at AD Fafe.

In 2018/19, João Resende played in the U-17 National Championship, where he played 32 matches and scored 15 goals. In the previous season (2017/18), he scored 27 goals in 25 matches for the U-15s of Vitória de Guimarães. In total, in the last two seasons he scored 42 goals!

When it comes to caps, João Resende has amassed a total of 13 (Under-16: 9 and Under-15: 4) and 7 goals scored.
