Rui Vitória shows his solidarity towards the children from Maianço

The coach of Benfica, Rui Vitória, was not indifferent to the request made to him by the Children's Club of Maianço, São Tomé and Príncipe, and sent sports equipment from the Club to the community.

The children from Maianço, a village located approximately 11 kilometers from the capital of São Tomé and Príncipe, live in precarious conditions and often separated from families, who emigrate in search of a better life in other countries. Football is, apart from sport that fuels a dream, the favorite hobby of these young people.

Given the social context and the request, Rui Vitória, in a gesture of solidarity and altruism, sent Benfica kits and soccer balls. The thank you came in the form of a video.

To the gesture, they answered with utter joy in their faces, with smiles, and with a special a special thank you to the coach o Benfica.
