Pizzi's good performances at Benfica in the start of the 2018/19 season are also acknowledged within the Liga NOS, a competition where the Eagles' number 21 was considered the Best Player of August and also the number one in the Best Midfielder of the month category.

Pizzi, as the Liga Portugal has revealed this Monday, collected 18,45% of the preferences for Best Player of August, leaving the second place of the podium for the bracarense Dyego Sousa (9,52%) and the third place for portista Brahimi (5,95%).

In the Best Midfielder of the month category, Pizzi received 23,48% of the votes. The benfiquista Gedson got the second place, with 17,42% of the votes, while the sportinguista Bruno Fernandes took the third place (6,82%).

The best player of the month in the II Division also belongs to Benfica: Jota, the forward from the Eagles B team, earned 24,48% of the votes.
