Carlos Santos, an 18-year-old goalkeeper (24.08.2000), extended his contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2023.

With dual nationality (American and Cape Verdean), Carlos Santos is at Benfica since 2016/17, the season in which he arrived from Philadelphia Union (EUA), and has already won a U-19 National Championship (2017/18).

In the current season, the goal stopper has played three matches as a starter for the eagles in the U-19 National Championship.
