Samuel Soares, a 16-year-old goalkeeper (15.06.2002), penned a professional contract with Benfica.

Las season, the goal stopper made 10 appearances for the U-16 in the District Championship and six matches for the U-17 in the 2nd Phase of the National Championship.

Coming from URD Tires, Samuel Soares arrived at the Club in 2013/14 and enters the 6th season representing Benfica.

So far, the goalkeeper has four caps: two for the U-15 and two for the U-16.
