The women’s football squad of Benfica began taking shape in the last few months and is now ready to start the work aiming at the competition in 2018/19, the season that will mark the debut of the Club’s project. The official start is scheduled for this Thursday. 

The works begin this Thursday with the usual medicals, that continue Friday and Monday. The first training session is scheduled for the morning of July 25 (Thursday), at Jamor.

The Official Site remembers the strong words from each of the names chosen to represent Sport Lisboa e Benfica, which in the women’s football debut season will play to get promoted to the I Division and fight to win the Portuguese Cup.
