🎥 Welcome, Cádiz!

With a contract valid until 2024, Jhonder Cádiz is a new signing from Sport Lisboa e Benfica for 2019/20. Last season, playing for V. Setúbal, he carried out the best season of his career, with 10 goals scored.  

“It's a very strong and great feeling. Benfica is the best team in Portugal. I'm very excited and I want to give everything for this jersey”, he guaranteed to BTV.

He stood out at V. Setúbal, but he intends to continue the good moment with an eagle on his chest and contribute to the Club's success.

“Individually, I want to have a season similar to the one I had at V. Setubal, and score even more goals; in collective terms, to continue with victories and achievements, which is what the fans most want”, he predicted.

Now he is going to play with the fans behind him, but he has already visited Estádio da Luz as an opponent.

“It's always difficult to play at Estádio da Luz, but it's a match in which every player wants to be present. It's not every weekend that you play in front of 60 thousand fans. It's a different sensation, but it is tough for the opponent. It's 11 plus 50/60 thousand fans pushing Benfica to victory”, he recalled.

He left a promise to the Benfica Members and supporters…

“You can expect a Cádiz who will give it all on the pitch, who will try to score as many goals as possible. I believe that we'll win titles next season”, he stressed.
