Sport Lisboa e Benfica - Futebol, SAD communicated, this Wednesday, to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission to have received from Club Atlético de Madrid, SAD a "proposal for the definitive acquisition of sports rights" from João Félix for an amount of 126 million euros, "which is being analyzed".

The information provided to CMVM also states that "the proposed value above the release clause [120 million euros] includes the financial cost indexed to the installment payment foreseen in this proposal".

If Benfica SAD accepts the proposal presented, the net value to be received from Atlético de Madrid on the date of transfer of sports rights will amount to 120 million euros," concludes the letter, which can be read in full here.
