After the Portuguese Cup derby, the Benfica’s president appealed to the “seven finals” left to play towards the “main goal”: The Championship.
04 April 2019, 00h31
“I want to thank our fans who were here at the stadium supporting the team and transmit to all members and supporters that, right now, we assume that one of the biggest goals we had – which was to be at the Portuguese Cup final – was failed”, said the president.
The President remembered that the “main goal” of Benfica is still the Championship.
“What is important now is to move forward as our main goal is the Championship. We have seven finals left to play and we want it to be seven finals with no refereeing situations. May it be a clean final”, he finished.
