After beating Galatasaray (1-2) in Europa League, Benfica returns to Liga NOS to visit Desportivo das Aves this Monday, at 8:15 pm. The opponent is the currently in the 16th position with 21 points, as a result of six victories, three draws and twelve losses.

In the first round of  Liga NOS (Matchday 5), on September 23, 2018, the reds beat Aves by 2-0 at Estádio da Luz. João Félix (first appearance as a starter in the first team) and Cervi scored the goals. By that time, José Mota was the coach, being replaced by Augusto Inácio after the elimination from the Portuguese Cup against SC Braga in the middle January.

The young forward nurtured at Benfica came off the bench at 85' and contributed with two goals in the 0-4 triumph away at Aves on matchday 33 of the Liga NOS.
