Fatih Terim, the coach of Galatasaray, said that he intends to continue the good results achieved in national competitions (currently 2nd placed of the Turkish League) and he revealed that he expects a difficult match against Benfica this Thursday, in the Round of 32 of the Europa League.

Fatih Terim revealed his desire to win the Europa League again (he won the competition in the 1999/2000 season at the helm of Galatasaray when the competition was still called UEFA Cup), but he stated that that would only be possible if he manages to beat the red squad.

"I want to win the Europa League, but Benfica is a big club, they played a final against Sevilla. If we see off Benfica we can have more hope in the future", he explained.

Benfica is the second Portuguese team that the Turks face this season, after having played against FC Porto in the Champions League group stage.

"I can say that Benfica is better than FC Porto and they could have remained in the Champions League if they had beaten Ajax", he claimed, in the Press conference held this Wednesday at the Club's Training Center.
