Benfica's U-17 squad trounced U. Leiria by 0-8 this Sunday, in a match from round 8 of the 2nd Phase of the National Championship, held at the Campo da Mata.

The goals were scored by Gerson Sousa (15’), Gabriel Araújo (43’), Henrique Pereira (51’ and 58’), Jeremy Sarmiento (70’) and Henrique Araújo (80’+2’).

Benfica's U17s remain at the top spot of the table (South Group), with 22 points, as result of seven wins in 8 matches.
