"Samaris!", "Samaris!", "Samaris!" – in unison, excited with the visit of someone so special, the kids of Escola Básica de São Lázaro, in Braga, called by the Benfica's player name.

Samaris is the ambassador of the "Play Happy" project, the first non-profitable association in Portugal, which gathers athletes, relatives and sports agents.

The Greek international was able to confirm that the work is being done, with the mission to promote the access and the regular practice of physical activity, for free, to all children and youngsters, fostering a healthy lifestyle, values and ethics.

"When children are like this, excited, it is very good. I love it, it is a pure thing, it comes from their soul", reacted Samaris on the school reception.
