Gabriel: “Important victory in a difficult match”

A win in Guimarães! Vitória de Guimarães and Sport Lisboa e Benfica locked horns Friday evening in a game from matchday 18 of the Liga NOS. Three days after the win for the Portuguese Cup, a new triumph by the same scoreline (0-1) at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques, with the goal from Seferovic, at 81’, clinching all three points.

At the end of the match, Gabriel, fielded as a starter by Bruno Lage and named the man of the match analysed the main incidences.

“It was a very difficult match, all the more so because these two matches were in such a short time and that made the match even more difficult. There is no time to study the opponent, people already know what each player is going to do, so the match is a little more truncated, but we knew how to suffer, we knew how to play well and leaving this ground with win is very important”, analyzed the Brazilian midfielder.

“There is still a lot to come. I am getting more comfortable and I am improving, always wanting to help my teammates and the team”, he finished.
