Salvio: "We are Benfica and only play to win"

The team's performance in Matchday 4 of the Champions League was a lot better than the result and the team feels inspired and stronger for next Sunday's match, in Guimarães, for Liga NOS.

Salvio, at the Old Trafford's mixed zone was highlighting this situation...

"The image we left was not bad. We were aware of the difficulties that we would have against a great team at its stadium, but we came here to impose our ideas. We did a good first half, we played well, had lots of good moves; we did a great match and we didn't deserve to leave with a defeat", said Salvio.

The qualification for the Champions League Last 16 is complicated, but it is not closed subject.

"There’s a possibility to get the qualification. We'll fight for that. We are Benfica and here we only play for the victory", assumed the winger. 

Salvio talked about the integration and affirmation process of the youngsters, namely Mile Svilar, Rúben Dias and Diogo Gonçalves.

"It's always good to have kids coming from the academy. Ourselves, the most experienced, we try to help them. They bring new energies to the group, they are doing well and helping us."
