He still suffered the penalty which would bring the first goal.
05 September 2017, 22h08
The former Benfica's player, Gonçalo Guedes, had a good performance on the U21's winning against Wales, 2-0, the first match of the European Qualifiers.
The Valencia's forward was a first option and was always looking after the ball. Before suffering the penalty which would bring the first goal, Gonçalo Guedes had a lot of chances to score.
Nevertheless, he would only score at 41m, after an assistance of Gil Dias.
In addition to Guedes, Renato Sanches (former Benfica's player), Rúben Dias, Francisco Ferreira, Pedro Amaral and João Carvalho (current players) were also a part of the starting XI; Diogo Gonçalves was an option during the match.
