Franco Cervi, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's winger, is back for his second season. In the interview to BTV he talked about the vacations first.
“The vacations were good, I was with my family in Argentina. I had the opportunity to get some rest and now it was time to return, to restart the training sessions”, he admitted.
The 2016/17 season went well to Cervi. He scored 7 times in 41 matches, but he believes that he can improve “There were some beautiful moments in my first season, we were Champions, which was a tremendous joy for me. I loved everything about this Club and now I want to improve, because I'm very happy here”, he considered.
The footballer is aware of the importance of the medical exams and physical tests, which take place in the pre-season. “The exams are very important for the season, it is also important so that we can be earlier with the new players. We are going to work like we did last season, which was very good. I hope this season to be as good or better."
When playing for Benfica, it is natural to think about the Sampaoli's call to the Argentinian team: “It would be a dream to play in the National Argentinian team. It would be very good, but I'm focused on the Club, where I try to do my best.”
