It was with a tied playoff that Benfica and Sporting arrived at Pavilion João Rocha (the lions won the first match, by 5-4, while the eagles won the next, by 3-2). A clear sign of balance which was predicting an exciting derby.
Benfica and Sporting meet again on Wednesday night (9:00 pm), at Luz’s Pavilion, in a clash that might be the last of this season. In case of victory, the team headed by Joel Rocha – which is in the lead (2-1) turns national champion.
